She-Wolf Soccer?

Ok so I don't normally follow Soccer. Ok well NEVER. I am not a sporty sort of gal. Usually I will follow somewhat the NFL but even then my team(s) suck so usually its moot.

Anyhow so I was on Yahoo news this morning and I seen this Soccer article about Elizabeth Lambert and how she is this she-wolf and monster on the field of play. I also have seen this article on various blogs and they paint a pretty mean picture of her.

Now, I agree she went overboard with some of the things she did, however, what the fuck is wrong with people? Did you guys NOT see the other girls and what they were doing?
Elbowing her in the gut and yanking on her shorts so hard it looked like it had to have given her a bad case of frontal undie wedgie. Its no damn wonder she did what she did.
Ok well yes it WAS overboard.. but are any of the other girls in the limelight over this? Nope, of course not. Because its OK to be mean as long as it doesn't look too obvious.

Such a crock of shit I say. I have watched these videos and think people need to take a closer look at more then one girl on the soccer field, because these so called *victims* are not victims in the least.

Aion Ranger Sig

So my boyfriend plays Aion as well, and there is a cute emote in the game where you cheer and pull out pom poms (/cheer as it were) and well when I seen him to this I had to make him a sig out of it.

The fact that he is going for pink armor was just a plus :P

So I started playing Aion to see what it was like, and decided to make my little cleric a signature.

Not sure how well I like it.. I am WAY rusty at making them but meh - I have to get practice somehow right?

Car Mirrors

So I was picking up my son from school today and was sitting in the car staring out of my rear view and side view mirrors of my car and I got to thinking....

Why do objects in your side view mirror *appear* farther away then what they *actually are*?

Do they WANT us to get into wrecks while we are switching lanes, thinking "that car is farther back, its safe to switch lanes now"?

Here is what the text says on my side view mirror *Objects are closer then they appear*.

I just don't get why they cant make a mirror that shows us a more precise view of what we need to see.

Signatures

Something that I used to do and miss tremendously, is creating signatures for people.

What I mean is a graphical signature for people to use on various forums/sites, usually reflecting an image of a character of theirs in a game.

I plan to get into making sigs again as I found them extremely fun! Of course it would be nice to have volunteers *cough*, but hey I will work with what I can get right?

Rude Callers

Ok so I work for a small business (an Air Conditioning Company) and after the business is closed I take care of the after hours phone calls, via a phone given to me by the business.
And I do this on my own time, for very little extra pay for doing so.

Now what the hell is up with people calling at 3am? 2am? midnight? 5am?

Seriously people, I DO SLEEP!

And they wonder why I sound grumpy as all hell when I answer the phone at 3am.

Here is the kicker!!!

They call and DON'T EVEN WANT EMERGENCY SERVICES!

What the fuck, seriously. Why not wait and call during BUSINESS HOURS?!
Was it THAT important that you call me at 3am to tell me to give them a message to call you back?
I could see if I was say at the office working the overnight shift and it was my job to stay up all night to take in crazy phone calls.

But it's not.
I do this service for my boyfriends family who want to offer after hours emergency service to its customers.

Here is another thing that bothers me, I answer the phone with the company name + AFTERHOURS. And I get asked at midnight "Oh, the store isnt open?"

Seriously people!? What A/C company has their doors open 24/7? Please enlighten me on that one!

Ex-Hubby's & Ex-Boyfriends + New Girlfriends

So, my Ex-Hubby and I have been apart for like 4 years (or something) and we were married 10 years and it was one of those things that we never should have gotten married because we were better friends.
So we are really good friends still now, and dare I say best friends.

Ok so here is my peave.. The girlfriends my Ex seems to find can't STAND that we are still friends.
Now yeah I know some of you are like "well DUH? you were close to him and they feel you are a threat". No no, here are the specifics.. Not only do I not want him back, but I dont call frequently. And we live in different STATES now.

How the hell is that threatening to them? Really?

I could see if I lived close still.. and I called all the time acting like I was clingy. But nope neither of those things happen.

We barely talk at all, mainly just to keep in touch and see how each other is doing. You know, getting the scoop on our life and changes etc and wishing each other well wishes until the next time we talk.

I just don't get crazy people. Ok well maybe I should as I am a little crazy myself but whatever.
Bitches need to realize what a good thing they have before they scare him away..

An after though I believe his *current* one is alot better then one of the lasy crazy bitches he was with.. so here is hoping! *crosses fingers*

Company and Texting

So I have a daughter and she is 17 (18 VERY soon yikes!) and well as any teenager she is attached to her phone like there is no tomorrow.
So she is texting constantly. On the phone alot too, but mainly texting.

Ok so she has a friend come over to visit, and while the friend is here she is still constantly texting other friends.

So here is my annoyance.. why do people do this?

This is JUST as rude as talking on the phone the whole time while you have company.
Your time is divided and you may as well not even have that person over to begin with. Right?

Sure a text every now and then I would think is ok.. but its constant!

Why are kids now a days so damn rude?

Car Radios

So I had a friend take me to get me something to eat the other day and we started talking as she drove off, and then while we were talking she turned the radio on and had it sorta loud.
Now, let me preface the rest of what I am going to say with I know for a fact she did not do it to be rude. She is not that sort of person.

However, I wonder why people do this.. while talking to others. I certainly don't do it because I can't hear the other person over the radio most of the time and when talking to someone I like to give my full attention to them.

My boyfriend sort of does the same thing, though he will tolerate it when I turn it off to talk to him. with him though I was just assuming that it was a guy thing and they tend not to care about chatting in the car.

I just personally find it rude, I don't know maybe that's just me and I am truly crazy!
